Game Summary

Well, we ended up with a 1 - 1 draw against Stare Byki B in what was, for the most part an evenly played match.  We did well in possessing the ball much of the game but settled for the long ball too often.  When moving the ball through the middle into PJ, Kamal, Brown and Edgar we created more chances and even created some confusion defensively for Stare Byki B.  In short, we did not make the most of opportunities and settled for the draw. 

Defensively, we lacked communication in the back from time to time which Stare Byki was able to capitalize on with their lone goal.  I also would like to note when Stare Byki was successful in carrying the ball through the midfield, Les, Hoeper, Baud, Jasen and Becker performed well in recovering and closing down their attack.

The majority of our challenges on offense came through Mike Majchrowicz who scored his 7th goal of the season and our goal early on by way of a well place through ball from Ricky.  Once the goal was scored, Stare Byki B pulled in tight defensively which only allowed our attacks to come when we were able to switch to the weak side in our offensive third.  Other opportunities from Mike and PJ resulted in finding only the post, crossbar or the keepers hands as the Stare Byki keeper was left relatively untested.  Shots from on top of the box could only seem to find traffic or were pushed wide.
